Whether you are a creative that's into making movies or wants to make movies, or whether you are a business owner that really loves the idea of making better advertising or being able to communicate your business well using video, you know you're going to need to make more than one in order to be able to achieve your creative vision. Just getting prolific is going to be a part of your journey. when it comes to filmmaking I've used some of my time to make this easier to access for everybody in Atlanta the ability to make a short film to produce it for it to look good and to get it out to the public I met this guy named Isaac Dietz he has a film club called Kick the Ladder and they make one minute films all around the city and his great point which I've been going around to Albuquerque saying is that movies are so young as a medium that we have not gotten to any real point of maturity. If movies were music, we have not gotten to the stage of hip-hop yet. And the tools of making that cathartic experience, I don't know what the last movie is that you've seen, has been out of the reach of the average person. And that explosion of creativity has not gotten to everybody in the public yet that wants it. And what we talking about here just over the last few years this group got together and made these very few cool films as a community And you can see that it way better than almost anything that you see online if you look them up they are kick the ladder on youtube and if you were to look at this video all of your questions about how you could make a film would be answered it's in a group um so my first priority as i hit the ground running here is to put together people who know how to make a video and that being being able to write a message set a stage uh do a production uh print distribute an idea to the public so part of that is you know making small things like flyers some of that is making things like audio and audio production uh and just some of it is uh yeah creating films we do a quarterly film festival uh the troya av club here in uh both albuquerque atlanta it's online as well and Discord is our medium for hosting this club where we hold meetings and stay on track for writing, audio, video, and anything that goes into turning an idea into a reality. I think it's pretty cool.
